We may not be able to accept products, such as ice cream, which require temperatures lower than the temperature range for the Frozen Type.
Precautions when Sending Ice CreamPrecautions when Sending Ice Cream
Ice cream requires handling at a temperature that is lower than the temperature range provided by Cool TA-Q-BIN's frozen service. Please pack ice cream using Styrofoam and with a sufficient amount of dry ice.
- *The proper amount of dry ice is about 2 kg for a Size 60 Styrofoam container (equivalent to 5 liters).
- *Specified Date Delivery Service cannot be used for ice cream.
When Using Cool TA-Q-BIN
Please cool parcels in advance
This is a refrigerated freight service (a service that maintains temperature). Therefore, it does not have any features to cool or freeze parcels
If your parcel is not cooled in advance, the refrigerator temperature may rise which may affect other customers' parcels. Therefore, we cannot accept parcels that have not been cooled in advance.
You can specify a delivery date up to 3 days from the pickup date.
You can specify a delivery date up to 3 days from the pickup date for regions specified for next-day delivery and up to 4 days from the pickup date for regions specified for two-day delivery.
If the recipient is not at home, parcels will be kept refrigerated or frozen at a Yamato Transport Sales Office for up to 3 days (including the day of attempted delivery).

Yamato Transport Sales Office
Sales Office handle the pickup and delivery of parcels for their designated areas, and serve as relay points for parcels.
They can accept parcel drop offs, issue waybills and act as a delivery pick up location.
Business hours, sending deadlines and services vary depending on each Sales Office. For more information, please find your nearest Sales Office.
Delivery Locker
Parcels can be sent from delivery lockers installed in apartments.
You can make a pickup request and make a payment with the Kuroneko Members website.
Parcels will be collected the same day for requests that are made by 4:00pm.
Temporary Custody Service
This service allows the pickup of parcels at Yamato Transport Sales Office throughout Japan.
When a parcel has a Yamato Transport Sales Office is specified as the delivery destination on the waybill, it will be kept there temporarily. Customers can then go to the Sales Office to pick up their parcels.
Reduced Rates for Multiple Parcels
This system can save you money when sending two or more parcels simultaneously to the same destination.
When sending more than one parcel, each additional parcel will receive a 100 JPY discount
Please use the Multiple-Parcel Waybill when using this service.
- *Reduced Rates for Multiple Parcels only apply to prepaid TA-Q-BIN parcels.
- *Not available for TA-Q-Bin Compact, Cool TA-Q-Bin, Golf TA-Q-Bin, Ski TA-Q-Bin, Airport TA-Q-Bin, Round Trip TA-Q-Bin, TA-Q-Bin Time Service, International TA-Q-Bin or Household Goods TA-Q-Bin.
- *Not available for Golf TA-Q-BIN, Ski TA-Q-Bin, Snowboard TA-Q-BIN, and suitcases/travel bags that are Size 160 or larger.
- *Multiple-package waybills cannot be used on the types of packages listed as not available.
Digital Discount
A discount of 60 JPY per parcel is offered to customers who cooperate in the digitalization of waybill information. This discount applies to customers who issue waybills using the "Neko-Pit" tablet at a Sales Office managed by Yamato Transport or using "Waybill Issuing System C2" to print waybills with their computers at home.
- *This discount does not apply when customers drop off parcels at TA-Q-BIN Agencies or convenience stores.
Kuroneko Members Discount
Yamato Transport's original e-money platform can save you money when paying for TA-Q-BIN services.
Depending on the amount you charge onto your Kuroneko Members e-money card, you will receive the following discounts on shipping rates.

- Kuroneko Members Discount BIG:15%
Kuroneko Members Drop-Off Discount
A discount of 150 JPY (tax included) per parcel is offered to Kuroneko Members who drop off their parcels to a Sales Office managed by Yamato Transport, which the waybill is issued by using "Neko-Pit" at the Sales Office or printed by using "Waybill Issuing System C2" with their computers at home.
- *If dropping off parcels at a Sales Office however the above requirements are not fulfilled, the standard drop-off discount of 100 JPY applies.

RAKURAKU Waybill Printing Service
Waybills can be issued using the following three methods:
- Have a waybill issued at a Yamato Transport Sales Office
Please scan your Kuroneko Members Card at a NekoPit terminal installed at the Sales Office. - Have a waybill issued at home
Please show your Kuroneko Members Card to the Sales Driver. - Have a waybill delivered to your home
Waybills will be delivered when an application is received in advance via the internet or telephone.
Delivery Completed Email
After a delivery has been completed, an email is sent within approximately one hour with the waybill number and the date and time of completed delivery.
This service is available for customers who are sending parcels via TA-Q-BIN and can be used in all regions of Japan.
Scope of the applicability of rates for cashless payments
If you use any of the following payment methods to pay for TA-Q-BIN (prepayment) and/or TA-Q-BIN Compact (prepayment), rates for cashless payments will apply.

- *Please note that cashless payment rates do not apply to payments for TA-Q-BIN (cash on delivery), TA-Q-BIN Compact (cash on delivery) or packaging materials.
- *When you make a payment in-person but need to supplement the payment with cash due to an insufficient e-money or Kuroneko member discount balance, please note that cashless payment rates will not apply. Also note that QR code payment cannot be used in conjunction with cash.
- *If payment is made with a combination of any Kuroneko member discount and cash, the amount will be determined by subtracting the Kuroneko member discount (10% or 15%) from the cash delivery charge.

The parcel size is the total of width, length, and height in centimeters.

Precautions
- Cool TA-Q-BIN does not provide constant temperatures throughout the entire shipping process.
Please note that parcels will be temporarily exposed to outside air during loading, sorting, pickup, delivery, etc. - For Cool TA-Q-BIN, each parcel is insured up to 30,000 JPY (tax included).
