If the Parcel Does Not Arrive on The Scheduled Date

If an Attempted Delivery Notice is Delivered to a Mailbox

If the intended receiver was absent when the parcel was delivered, an Attempted Delivery Notice is placed into the mailbox and the parcel is returned to the Sales Office.
Check the Attempted Delivery Notice and then request redelivery.

If Neither an Attempted Delivery Notice nor Parcel is Received

If the house or apartment has delivery lockers, please check to see if the parcel is located in one of them. If the parcel is not in a delivery locker, it is likely that there is a problem with the delivery. Please contact Yamato Transport as soon as possible.

When Receiving an Unexpected Package or Attempted Delivery Notice

When the mistake is noticed when receiving the parcel

Please inform the Sales Driver of the mistaken delivery.

When the mistake is noticed after receiving the parcel

Please do not open the parcel. Use the inquiry form to report the mistaken delivery.

When receiving an unexpected Attempted Delivery Notice

Please use the inquiry form to report the mistaken delivery.

If the Delivered Parcel is Damaged

In the unlikely event that the parcel was damaged or harmed due to negligence by Yamato Transport during shipping, we will provide compensation based on the applicable Terms and Conditions.

Insurance Limit for TA-Q-BIN

The insurance limit differs depending on the service.

TA-Q-BIN, TA-Q-BIN Compact, Cool TA-Q-BIN, PC TA-Q-BIN, Golf TA-Q-BIN, Ski TA-Q-BIN, Airport TA-Q-BIN, Round Trip TA-Q-BIN, TA-Q-BIN Time Service Up to 300,000 JPY per parcel (tax included)
TA-Q-BIN Compact Up to 30,000 JPY per parcel (tax included)
Nekopos Up to 3,000 JPY per one parcel (tax included)
International TA-Q-BIN Up to 200,000 JPY per waybill (tax included)
However, the liability limit is 22 SDR per 1 kilogram when the price of goods is not listed on the waybill.(*)

Yamato Transport assumes no responsibility for damages incurred due to the following reasons.

  1. 1Direct, indirect, collateral, extraordinary, and all other resulting damages caused by delayed delivery due to traffic conditions, etc.
