QWhere should I go if I want to send TA-Q-BIN?

A

TA-Q-BIN can be sent through parcel pickup by our sales drivers or from a Yamato Transport sales office or TA-Q-BIN agency including convenience stores.

You can send TA-Q-BIN in the following methods.
Please choose the most convenient method for you.

(1) Pickup by sales driver

If you request parcel pickup online or by phone, our sales driver will visit your house or workplace.

(2) Drop-off parcel at a sales office

You can send your parcel from the nearest Yamato Transport sales office (Japanese Only).

(3) Drop-off parcel at TA-Q-BIN agency

You can send your parcel from the nearest TA-Q-BIN agency (a store showing a signboard and/or banner-flags) (Japanese Only).

(4) Drop-off parcel at a convenience store

You can send your parcel from convenience stores that handle our services (Japanese Only).

QCan I request pickup of my parcel online?

A

Yes. You can request pickup using your PC or smartphone.

QDo I have to pay an extra charge for my pickup request?

A

No. You do not have to pay any extra charge.

In addition, if you carry your parcel to a Yamato Transport sales office or TA-Q-BIN agency such as a convenience store, you can receive a discount of 100 JPY per parcel.

QHow can I find the rates of TA-Q-BIN and the scheduled delivery dates to various places?

A

You can search the rates and scheduled delivery dates on this website.

  • * Actual delivery may be delayed from the scheduled delivery date due to the timing of pickup and sending, or traffic conditions. Thank you for your understanding.

QCan I request my parcel to be delivered at a specific time?

A

You can specify your desired time from the following 5 time zones. (No extra charge)
Please specify when you apply for delivery.

AM / 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. / 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. / 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

  • * Time periods differ depending on the location of delivery.

Please take note that the parcel may not be delivered at the designated time due to traffic conditions, weather, disaster, etc. Thank you for your understanding.

QCan I buy a box for sending a parcel?

A

Yes. We provide various types of packing materials for purchase.

In addition, we have different types of packing material specifically designed for various parcels. You can purchase the packing materials from our sales drivers or at the nearest sales office.
Please take note that some packing material may be out of stock. Please contact our sales driver or the nearest sales office.

QIs there any way that can simplify the process of filling in the waybill?

A

We provide services which allow users to enter the information to be filled in on the waybill on a PC and print the waybill.

For personal customers

You can use "RAKURAKU Waybill Printing Service" that allows you to register the information to be filled on the waybill and to print the registered information on the terminal (NekoPit) placed at the entrance of Yamato Transport sales offices or at your house when our sales driver visits for pickup.
By registering to "Kuroneko Members, " you can use this service.

For business customers

Waybill issuing system B2 Cloud is available.
By registering to "Yamato Business Members, " you can use this system.

QAre there any items that cannot be sent by TA-Q-BIN?

A

The following goods cannot be sent by TA-Q-BIN.
These are in addition to goods restricted by the Civil Aeronautics Act.

QHow is the size of a parcel determined?

A

First, dimensions (total measurements of the length, width and height) and the weight of the parcel are measured. Then, the larger measurement figure is applied for determining the size. (For example: the total measurement of a parcel is of 70 cm and its weight is 9 kg, the size is determined as size 100.)

QCan I specify my parcel to be delivered on birthday or anniverary day?

A

We accept requests for delivery on your desired delivery date. (No additional fee.)

You can select the delivery date to be a date up to one week after you send the parcel.
Please inform us about the date when you apply for delivery.

  • * Please take note that when you send your parcel via Cool TA-Q-BIN, you can select the delivery date to be up to 4 days later.

QCan I inform the recipient of the parcel about the scheduled delivery date and designated time? (Sender of parcel)

A

You can inform the recipient by "Scheduled Delivery Notice Email." (Registration to "Kuroneko Members" is required.)

This service is divided into two types. In this case, please use the service for "those who send parcels."
If the sender of the parcel registers the information about the recipient (such as e-mail address) in advance, the scheduled delivery date and designated time for the parcel is notified to the recipient by e-mail on the day that the parcel is sent. If the recipient who received the e-mail cannot receive the parcel on the scheduled delivery date or at the designated time, he or she can change the scheduled delivery date and designated time by clicking the link provided in the e-mail.

QIs next-day delivery possible for regions specified for two-day delivery?

A

Please use the TA-Q-BIN Time Service. (Payment of an additional fee is required.)
For transportation from Kanto to Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa, and from Hokkaido to Kanto, Express TA-Q-BIN is available.

  • * Please take note that the TA-Q-BIN Time Service cannot be combined with the Cool TA-Q-BIN and Collect service.
  • * Express TA-Q-BIN Service can be combined with the Cool TA-Q-BIN and Collect service.

QCan you pick up parcels for individual customers?

A

Yes, we can.

We visit the residence of individual customers to pick up parcels, if any.

QIf I carry my parcel to your sales office or a convenience store, can I receive a 100 JPY discount even for a cash-on-delivery service?

A

Yes. You can receive a 100 JPY discount even for a cash-on-delivery service.

QHow can I make a payment?

A

You can make payments in the following methods:

(1) Cash (cash receipt)

In this method, transportation rates and extra charges are paid in cash.

(2) Credit (payment receivable)

In this method, a due date is set for a predetermined period and the transportation rates and extra charges accrued during such period are paid in a lump. To make this payment, you are required to enter into a credit agreement with Yamato Transport.
After signing a credit agreement, a Kuroneko Card (aka Customer Card or Payment Receivable Card) is issued.
When you send parcels and receive cash-on-delivery parcels, please present your Kuroneko Card.

(3) E-money

We accept "nanaco, " "WAON, " "Edy" and "IC cards issued by railway companies" (as of December 2016).
As an e-money settlement function is implemented on the handsets carried by our sales drivers, they can handle payment by e-money.

(4) Kuroneko Members Discount

Customers who registered as Kuroneko Members (no charge required for the registration) can receive discounts by charging their Kuroneko Members E-Money Cards.
There are two types of discounts: Kuroneko Members Discount (10% discount) and Kuroneko Members Discount BIG (15% discount).
To charge the card, please contact any sales office or sales driver directly. The cards cannot be charged in other places such as convenient stores because they can be used only for payment to Yamato Transport. Thank you for your understanding.

  • * We do not accept payment by credit cards or debit cards.
    However, only for receipt of cash-on-delivery parcels, you can use your credit card or debit card for the payment by using the handset carried by the sales driver at the time of delivery (only when the sender of the parcel agrees to payment by card at the time of delivery).

QUntil when can I use discount coupons?

A

Discount coupons can be used until 31 March, 2018.

We accept refund for customers with discount coupons in hand.

QWhat are the TA-Q-BIN Terms and Conditions?

A

The TA-Q-BIN Terms and Conditions describe the provisions of the transportation contract for the parcel to which the TA-Q-BIN rate is applied.
