QHow can I check the delivery status of my parcel?

A

You can view the status using the parcel tracking system.

QHow is the size of a parcel determined?

A

First, the dimension (total measurements of the length, width and height) and the weight of the parcel are measured. Then, the larger measurement figure is applied for determining the size of the parcel. (For example: the total measurement of a parcel is of 70 cm and its weight is 9 kg, the size is determined as size 100.)

QDo I have to pay an extra charge for my pickup request?

A

No. You do not have to pay any extra charge.

In addition, if you drop off your parcel at a Yamato Transport Sales Office or TA-Q-BIN agency such as a convenience store, you can receive a discount of 100 JPY per parcel.

QDo you provide any packing material for sending a parcel?

A

Yes. We provide various types of packing materials for your purchase.

In addition, we have different types of packing materials specifically designed for various parcels. You can purchase the packing materials from our sales drivers or at the nearest sales office.
Please note that some packing materials may be out of stock. Please contact our sales drivers or the nearest sales office in advance (Japanese Only).

QIf I want to send items to a ski resort, when do I need to send them?

A

Please send your items at least 2 days (3 days in some areas) before the reservation date.
The time limit differs depending on the sales office. Please contact the nearest sales office or our sales drivers.

Golf TA-Q-BIN and Ski TA-Q-BIN are services for delivering items to golf courses or ski resorts by the day before the reservation date.

  • * Please take note that you cannot select the designated delivery time zone when using Golf and Ski TA-Q-BIN.

QAre there any additional fees when using Airport TA-Q-BIN?

A

Yes. In addition to general TA-Q-BIN rates, extra charge will be applied for using Airport TA-Q-BIN.

QCan I purchase insurance for my parcel?

A

You cannot purchase insurance for your parcel when using International TA-Q-BIN service.

For contracted business customers who would like to send an item with total maximum liability of International TA-Q-BIN exceeding 200,000 JPY, or would like to purchase insurance, we recommend you to use UPS Worldwide Express Saver.

QCan I send a parcel by cash-on-delivery?

A

Sorry, only prepaid system is accepted for International TA-Q-BIN service.

If any contracted business customer who would like to send goods by cash-on-delivery, we recommend you to use UPS Worldwide Express Saver.
