How to Send

Three easy steps and your shipment is on the go!

1. Check your shipment!
(1) Make sure the items you are planning to ship conform to local Import & Export regulations.
(2) Items you cannot send by International TA-Q-BIN Service (prohibited goods for each country)
(3) Ensure the parcel fits into our size / weight brackets and its limitations

Weekdays only from 09:00 – 18:00.

2. Complete the shipping label and where necessary an Invoice

3. Arrange for pick up
(1) Please contact your sales driver or call our Service Center on 03-3541-3411 and arrange for a pick up time convenient to you.

[Important Notes]

* The maximum size limit is 160 cm for a combined length, width and height of the package.
* The maximum weight limit may not exceed 25 kg.
* Yamato’s liability for loss or damage to any Shipment or any portion thereof is limited to JPY 200’000. However, in case where the value on the shipping label is either misstated or not clearly defined, the maximum liability shall be limited to SDR 19. — per kilo.

* As Import and Export conditions and/or regulations are continuously adjusted in various countries, current laws might be changed and Yamato’s service might be either changed or stopped at the request of such changes.
* While Yamato strives to deliver your goods as quick as possible, there may be delays beyond Yamato’s control (such as but not limited to, delay in customs clearance at destination country, acts of nature etc.)
* Any dispute, claim for compensation can only be brought forward by the shipper upon presentation of waybill.

* Size (cm) is the combined sum of length, width and height added together.
* The upper limit for a Document package is within B4 size for length and width and the weight is up to maximum 1kg (2.2 lb).
* When either the size (cm) or weight exceeds the limit, the oversized one is treated as Size.

[Additional Fees and Duties & Tax]

Depending on governing laws, individual countries may levy an import duty or local tax on certain items.Such charges shall be levied upon consignee and are payable in local currency upon receipt of the items. However, and for registered Yamato International TA-Q-BIN clients only, we do offer the option to re-charge any actual occurring costs at destination to the shipper together with a handling fee of JPY 1575.

Invoice

- Items destined for a foreign country are subject to Export clearance with Japan Customs. For this purpose a detailed Invoice must be attached to each shipment indicating the contents of the shipment and the value of each item contained within.
- A shipment declared as “Documents” does not require any Invoice
- In general overseas countries do require a copy of the original invoice for Import clearance procedures.Lack of such documentation may lead to shipments being withheld by local authorities and might incur additional costs for the consignee.
